African Democracy Project: Liberia

African Democracy Project: Ghana

Public Administration, Civil Society, & Democracy

This course uses an African country as a case study to explore the relationships between public administration, civil society, and democracy in developing countries. The semester-long course culminates in a two-week trip abroad, during which students engage in lectures, site visits, and field research.
